We like to be able to have multiple users to remotely connect to the same Windows 10 Enterprise computer at the same time. I think I saw a software called RDPwrap, but I do not think our company would allow third party software. You cannot do that, unless you use a third party software like the one that you've mentioned or you perform "strange" operations on the Windows system files which is not a supported operation, of course.

Licensing etc, it's pretty expensive.. Honestly it is cheaper to just run the machine you need multiple connections to, and clone it.. Please Note: Since the websites are not hosted by Microsoft, the links may change without notice.

After my search, Microsoft doesn't have such official tools to perform this task, I'm afraid you may need to use 3rd - party softwares. No: as far as I know, allowing multiple remote desktop sessions in Windows 10 is neither officially allowed nor supported by Microsoft it is also related to licensing.

We bought Windows 10 Pro because it allows to have multiple connections, and we used it daily with no problems. Now it stopped working, anytime a new remote connection is established, the logged in user is asked to log off; do you know how to make it work again? I don't want to break any rule, and above all to lose time trying to make some patch, that's why we bought a Pro license. I have to roll back and get this feature. This was a bug letting multiple user accessing windows 10 and they fixed it Office Office Exchange Server.

I have remote desktop set up so that I as the primary user admin can log in, but I would like to set up additional profiles so that my kids can log in using their profiles on the primary pc in basement from the laptop in the office.

Cancel Submit. Hi JJM. The easiest way by far to do this is with the much more reliable and flexible free TeamViewer or AnyDesk Applications. Install it to both PC's so that any User can access it to sign into the other PC, even get through their passwords which will make it useful for various accounts.

I'm sure you could do that with Remote Desktop as well although I wouldn't even try myself because the other 3rd party apps are so much better and more reliable. I stopped spending hours troubleshooting Microsoft remote utilities years ago when I changed to TeamViewer and then AnyDesk and haven't spent a minute doing it since.
